HEROES OF THE REALM CARDS
Starting in 2016, Wizards of the Coast began to create a handful of special cards each year to be given to employees on teams that made a particularly meaningful contribution to the company's success. These cards have card faces that look like traditional Magic cards but have special Heroes of the Realm card backs rather than the normal Magic: The Gathering card back. Each copy of a Heroes of the Realm card has the specific employee's name to whom it was presented printed on the bottom line of the card.
Heroes of the Realm cards were never published and exist in very limited quantities. In most cases, fewer than ten copies of each card exist. They can only be obtained from former employees of Wizards of the Coast (as current employees are prohibited from selling cards).
